Welcome, I’m Jo !

& I’m really glad you’re here

I'm a PACFA-accredited Counsellor and Social Worker in Melbourne's Westside, working with adults and emerging adults through the waves of life. Stormy or calm - whatever shape they're taking right now, you’re welcome here.

You already carry your own inner compass. My work is about exploring it alongside you: getting to know yourself more deeply, welcoming and accepting all of yourself, and discovering how you want to navigate what you learn in a way that feels balanced and authentic to you. Whether you're working through something specific or simply want to feel more connected to and confident in who you are - this is a collaborative space where you decide the direction, I help facilitate the process.

What working with me looks like

Sessions with me are a reflective process - collaborative, empowering, explorative, and paced by you. My aim is for you to feel heard, understood, and supported - and to leave each session a little more connected to yourself.

My values: Transparency · Curiosity · Integrity · Empathy · Collaboration ·
Empowerment · Lifelong Learning · Connectedness

Approaches I draw on: Internal Family Systems · Compassion-Focused Therapy ·
ACT · CBT & MBCT · Motivational Interviewing

Outside of sessions, you'll usually find me dancing and singing wrong tunes in my kitchen, spending time in nature and being active, or hunting down the best cinnamon scroll or sandwich in town (ask me about it sometime).

Find out if we’re a good fit
